A: It’s Honza’s birthday. Are you going to give him something?
B: As if! You know I hate him.

A: How did you and your partner meet?
B: We met at a party and really hit it off. We’ve been dating ever since!

A: I want to go to that new Hungarian restaurant. What do you think?
B: Yes, I’m up for it. I love spicy food!

For crying out loud, would you even try listening to me when I’m talking to you? I’ve already told you twice that I’m going on a business trip next week!

A: See you next week!
B: Right. Take care.
A: And you.

A: I want some fresh air. Do you fancy a walk?
B: Funny you should say that. I was just going to ask you the same question!

A: I’m so grateful to you for giving me that recommendation to the job! If it wasn’t for you, I’d be still unemployed.
B: That’s all right, don’t mention it.

I got promoted today. Christmas came early this year!.

I believed that was the end of the conversation, but no such luck – he just kept on talking.
